Hey Everyone,
As you may have noticed, I stopped communicating with all of you late last year. The blog stopped, the podcast stopped. Why?
First I will start with a bit of a background. I started Zune Life (formerly Zune-Life) back in late 2006 when news of the Zune first appeared. I, as well as many others, jumped straight in. I lived as I still do in Sydney, Australia, because of that I only got my Zune a month or so after it's release. It wasnt perfect, but I still loved it. Over time I became more involved, not as much as others, but still involved, then In October I created the first and most popular Zune podcast. All was going well.
So what happenned? The Zune despite being a wonderful device became...boring. What could I talk about on a daily basis, let alone weekly. The news began to slow, and with that, my interest began to disappear. I stopped the podcast and blog without notice, in hope that in a few months my interest would spike back up again. It didn't.
Congratulations to Zunited for takin off from where I left. You guys do a wonderful job and I congratulate you on your success! As for all of the other Zune Bloggers out there, keep it up. I am glad that there are others out there who can continue on blogging. A special thanks to those who helped me over the time: Damien (cybez15), Bunnybash and Vicky, thanks for the great times in the forums and on the podcast. Harvey (Zunerama), Chris (Got Zune), Stefan (IHAZ) and Nate (Zune Scene), thanks for being on the podcast.
So what now? My new site is zacaltman.com. If you want to continue the Zune Life blog yourself, contact me, but as for now, I am gone...
Kind Regards,
Zac Altman
